NO HIDDEN FEES AT WESTVIEW FOREST
Many apartment communities have been charging many extra fees on top of rent—and they are often hiding those fees from their new residents.
Westview Forest has never done that—and never will!
For example, we have never charged an “administration fee” of ANY kind to new residents. We do not believe it makes sense to charge prospective renters for the privilege of doing business with us—on the contrary, we consider it to be OUR privilege to have tenants allow US to do business with THEM!
Westview Forest also does not charge an application fee for any new prospects who end up being approved and moving in to Westview Forest. The way this works is that everyone one that applies pays an application fee, but if you are approved—which is the case for most applicants—we refund your application fee by applying it to your first month’s rent payment!
Here are some of the fees that other properties charge that we do NOT charge:
- Administration Fees
- Application fees (if you move in)
- Transfer fees (if you choose to move from one apartment to another)
- Pet rent
- Pet deposit (we charge just a one-time pet fee of $300—that’s it!))
- “Resort” fees
- Amenity Fees: For pools, mail sorting and package lockers.
- Holding Fee: To reserve an apartment before move-in
- Renters Insurance Fee: We recommend that tenants get insurance, but we don’t require it.
- Utility Setup Fees
The only charges you will see from us every month is rent plus water/gas/garbage, which we charge according to a formula established by the State of Texas (many properties charge much more for water than the law allows them to charge).
